Hotel and Restaurant Categorization
Law on Tourism aiming to unify the standards and let people know what they get. Categorization includes criteria for the standard of attendance, services offered, room furnishing and equipment. Hotels with higher categorization offer higher standard services and, according to the criteria, are defined from one-star to five-star. The difference between three-star and four-star hotels is in the availability of a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, conference halls, a sauna, a fitness centre.
Five-star hotels differ from those with four stars by the luxurious interior and accessories and this is a prerequisite for full splendor, packet services and plenty of extras. For these hotels of the highest level the requirements for comfort have been satisfied and they offer 24h room service, hairdresser, cosmetics, rent-a-car, solarium, massage, etc. According to an ordinance by the Council of Ministers there is an obligatory requirement for an internal telephone number to connect to the reception desk.
